Long stretch of white sandy glistening beach, turquoise blue water lapping its shore as clear as crystal and there lied a pair of colourful boat in yellow and orange on one corner waiting for us to take them for a ride.
Our guide at Velassaru Resort , Maldives was there to tell us about some basic skills on paddling strokes with basic control and on how to balance the kayak.
We opted for a canoe boat with padded seat cushion and transparent bottom named “Molokini“, yup you got it right, it’s a narrow boat maneuvered by a double-blade paddle with a transparent glass bottom that is made of bulletproof glasses and visibility on all sides that gives you a feeling that you are floating on the water.
As we struggled and paddled into the vast horizon of cobalt blue just a thought evoked in my head that marriage is just like Kayaking where both the partners have to learn the art of balancing and patience for a smooth sail into a unknown journey called life.
