Reason to visit Bangkok

Winter is coming, so is the vacation time. The number of international destinations for the average Indian traveler has increased manifold over the years. The major contributing factor has been the availability of cheaper flights. With the onset of winters, one always dreams of warm and sunny beaches and loads of shopping. There is no better destination other than Bangkok in Asia which provides all of these.

On Arrival Visa for Indians:

Yes, you heard it right. You can easily get On Arrival visa when you reach Bangkok for 1000THB. No documentation, applications, no visa interview prior to arrival. Now, who does not want a vacation with  hassle-free visa experience. This makes it quite a lucrative destination.

Currency Conversion Rate:

The exchange rate for INR to THB predominantly hovers around 1.9 to 2.1 which is pretty affordable for Indians. This is easily available at any Currency Exchange shop in India. Also, you can carry your international Debit/Credit card with you.

Cheap flights to beautiful destination across Thailand:

As we are talking about the budget, so in line to that Bangkok is the perfect location to reach to other beautiful destinations.Thailand has amazing and exotic locales with lush greenery, forest to beaches like Krabi, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Koh Lanta, Koh Samui. All these destinations are connected very well with Air Asia and Nok Air. We had recently booked our flights from Bangkok to Krabi and from Phuket to Bangkok. Compared to all other airlines Air Asia’s price was the cheapest and best.We booked our flight from Bangkok to Krabi at just 850THB i.e 1700 INR per person, my airport transfer from the city to Bangalore airport was 1200 INR just for 50 KM with a travel time of 2 and half hours. I was flying 800 + km in just 1 hour 30 min at a price of 1700 INR. That’s freaking cheap 🙂 🙂 🙂

Perfect Base location to visit other nearby Countries:

Not just travelling within the country , but Bangkok can be your base location if you are planning to take alternative routes to reach your destination in a lesser price unlike taking a direct flight. If you want to save money  while traveling for your next vacation, then there cannot be any better option than this. Suppose we fly directly to Bali or Sydney the cost will be more than flying via Bangkok or Malaysia.Alternative routes can definitely save you more bucks than direct flights.

Cheap Transportation:

The city is easily accessible through BTS Sky Train, MRT Subway, metered taxi, boats and the very popular tuk-tuk without burning a hole in your pocket.Buses and trains are great to travel within the country, but sometimes if you get a good deal on an Air Asia flight it can save a lot of time, effort, and prices can be very reasonable. # Warm and Friendly people:

Knows to be as “Land of Smiles” , Thai people are cheerful , warm , courteous and helpful. One of the most distinctive Thai customs is the “wai” that includes showing greeting, farewell, or acknowledgement. The smile is an important symbol of refinement in Thai culture. You are greeted with joining hands like offering prayer, similar to our Indian tradition of saying “Namaste”.

Other Info:

Accommodation: There are a plenty hotels and hostels in Bangkok ranging from high-end to budget. If you do not want to spend too much on your stay then you can opt for a budget hotel or a hostel. If you would love to splurge some dough on your stay then Bangkok has amazing hotels to offer. Hostels are available per night under 1000 INR.If you’re searching for budget accommodation and nightlife, Khao San Road is a popular option, very popular among backpackers.
