Great list of luxurious stays near Mumabi. I always stayed in Amby Valley near Khandala/Lonavala for luxurious stay. Now I will try these stays as they are also looking promising. Atmatan retreat sounds interesting due to hollistic approach and yoga therapies. Also it has got nice views of Mulshi lake.

Wow these resorts and their locations look incredible! I can see why you tout them as good for relaxing on a weekend getaway! You wouldn’t believe they were anywhere near Mumbai with those uncrowded views of nature all around! I think I would try the Shilim Estate and Spa for the jogging tracks and complimentary yoga classes!

Wow, I had no idea that there were such stunning resorts near Mumbai. The wide open spaces and beautiful nature must be the perfect antidote to the congested city. I went to Mahableshwar when I was a child but I don’t think that the Le Meridien was there then.
